THE ROPER LAB MISSION

The Roper Lab in the Department of BioMolecular Sciences at the University of Mississippi is focused on improving environmental health. Current projects involve the robust characterization of air pollution, specifically fine particulate matter. Through transdisciplinary approaches we aim to identify the chemical components of air pollution that are relevant to human health to ultimately improve regulatory standards.
